Daily Appreciation Thread

       I love the wind and the rain, so beautiful right now, I'm a ways from large bodies of water but the rainy windy days remind me of rainy days on a coast, the rain smell with the gusts. It's like the storm before the calm, I tend to analogize weather with cycles of life and it tends to bring up the thought that seasons of life change and I love that we have the different seasons and weather of both.

Today was one of those snowballing in the direction of awesome days. My neighbor saw me mowing the lawn and came and finished it with a ride on mower, saving me a bunch of time.

Appreciating what a complete mindfuck it is that there's journaling, self referential thoughts, change, conscious creating, enjoying experience, and yet it's unmistakably clear there isn't a self.

I have had nothing but white ice skates all my life. They got ruined in storage and I had to replace them which I was bummed about at first but I just found a pair in the perfect shade of purple. 😂

I was at this house doing a treatment in the yard and saw what seemed like a rope. But as I got closer to it I realized it was actually a dead snake. Lol

I bought rice a while ago and put it in the lower cabinet, and my husband cooks with it a lot and had believed that we were out of it, so I said I had a secret and I ceremoniously opened the cabinet, but he looked unimpressed so I explained there was an entire bag of rice in there, and then he said. "If you want to show me a secret, it helps not to stand in front of it." Hit me like the most profoundly deep common sense that it is. 😂

I'm grateful for breathing, is free and affordable especially when I realized recently about drinking water these days are for purchase (unless you live near fresh spring, or have filter , kind regards) 🙏 I'm thankful for the weather.

I'm sooo happy about whis whole awakening thing. It's becoming clearer and clearer that this is indeed what I've been looking for. The quantum field stuff... It feels exactly as magical as I've been wanting to feel for so long. There is magic. Which is why the thought that there is no magic feels so off.

I have this old water damaged bathroom sink cabinet that's on its last legs.  I figured why the heck not, painted it teal yesterday, finished the third coat today and put new gold hardware on it and it looks 🙌

Sometimes my wife will be in the vicinity of me and start thinking out loud to herself while working on something and say something like ‘hmm, it must be true because it’s what I’m thinking soooo…’ which is hilarious and I really appreciate.
