  1. Are you going to read it ? well, as i said, i think im off Vedanta, at least to The time ill be mentaly stable again. If you find something interesting, ill read it 🙂 what i found is that often Ego means something diffrent. It might be Big Ego = God = which is pure conciousness + maya. Whole creation. So when they say its one ego, its not illusory body-mind-ego, but whole creation. 🙂 Its hard for for us to grasp, because its different culture.
  2. I didnt see it yet. Is it really safe to watch and free of wrong interpretation ? I literally had mental breakdown because of text i posted. 😂
  3. i did watch a loot of Swami. Seriously. Yes, he occasionally says something solipsism-like. But i got the feeling, that they don't say everything, and they often mix what is easier to grasp. Like one time they say about soul, karma, and all that stuff, and other time they say there's no such thing as reincarnation... they often contradict themselves. yeah this guy is pretty random, i'm not sure why i touched this oven again. But Raman sounds solipsism like. But it might also be translation/interpretations/believes/ other factors in play... we will never know. no, i can't.
  4. Because if i cheat myself into thinking that there are others, and really it is all inside my head, its not worth living… thats my biggest fear. That ill die, just to find out, i cheated my self all The time… im alone to The point of infinity… it feels like hell… do you undestand ?
  5. And when you read this Article do you feel any Discord ? At this point i dont know if what ive experienced on psychodelic was the truth or i was brainwashed by concepts and belives. I simply would like to know.
  6. https://tomdas.com/2020/03/25/ramana-maharshi-the-world-should-be-considered-like-a-dream/?fbclid=IwAR23z6ifiCkp3qvUoeO-Wy8ALhoU4yi8Ob8mexm2BQ0PhgU_7_eHiOqVRX8 @Aware Wolf @Joseph Maynor @Faith@Phil@Indisguise Article for those you don't believe that Vedanta has it's solipsism background. I know many of you are fans of Vedanta, but deep down there is solipsism, don't you think? I still think it's egoistic view, when you don't care about anything, just to get "liberation" . You don't care about world, or other people. Maybe it's based on the condition they live in. If i spent whole my life in a cave, and most people in my country were starving, maybe i would think similar, to "get out", and it's only "me" who gets liberation. But as Phil said - the purpose of the Universe is your experience. Not avoidance of it. I'm off Vedanta. Buddhism's purpose is " to save all living creatures" and it resonates much more. Jesus said, "love each others". Love is the answer.
  7. so there are nor people, nor knowers, nor experiencers, it all just is? Full stop.
  8. Can anyone say if i'm right? God, Brahman, Pure consciousness, DON'T EXPERIENCE ANYTHING. It's pure, formless, infinite, outside time. All knowledge, image, concepts, of GOD , starts with MIND. So saying ANYTHING about GOD such as "lonely" is a concept of MIND. And it's mistakenly seen as GOD, which is SOMEONE. God is SELFLESS. There's no one to obtain "God realization" it's only GOD.
  9. Quote from David Hawakings book - "letting go" It hit me hard. Probably some of you might relate...
  10. 14:43 i think its not The only time Swami says something solipsism like. How do you see it?
  11. I saw in Vedanta somewhere explanation, that when a person dies this apparent bubble of water burst out, and it merges into the ocean of pure consciousness. But when you are not Brahman-realized, you get born as next bubble. It's not like bubble is different from water, it's all the same, of course. When you get enlightenment, it's the same, but before physical death. It's only mental death (for now) and all the separation dies too. In that case, you won't get reincarnated as the next bubble, because it bursted as you still live. This explanation resonates a lot.
  12. This occurred to me. Consciousness is one. Ocean is one. Waves are many, just as body-minds are many. When one particular body-mind, takes psychedelics, all the infinite in his insight, is packed into it's finite "lens" if you will. (Phil <3) 😄 So in this analogy, the wave might had seen the entire ocean, but it's all packed into its finite point of interest. So, the wave, might think, it's dreaming all the others waves, and it's alone. You as a wave, might be aware only of yourself. At it goes to every possible waves, the insight is always the same, because ocean is ONE. So a character with undissolved ego, might think, that "i'm dreaming other people". But when you inspect that "I" , it can't be found. So who's dreaming it? If there's no-one? Does dream character dream other characters? No, it's all one brain. So does a solipsist dream other people? No, it's infinite consciousness. There's also no solipsist 😄 I think it all boils down to undissolved ego, and "no self" insight. That's solipsism. When it's experienced with no-self - it's oness. In the nutshell: Consciousness can be aware of INFINITE points of view, but each finite point of view, can only be aware of itself. What do you think?
  13. I stumbled across this video, and people seem to love it. For me, it's pure maddening stuff, and i try to understand myself better, why. It basically gave me once again panic attack. It's hilarious at this point. it seems like you are alone, and you play every possible character in the world, life after life. How is it beautiful? Why do people like it? And how would you tell it otherwise, with your current understanding of spirituality, and what consciousness is? Is there a way to re-frame it?
  14. Yeah, i think that way too. Ramana taught that there is no I, and there are no others. But if there is no I, there is no "me" , the ego is an illusion. It was constantly missed on actualize.org, i wonder if by mistake, or on purpose? So basically Vedanta: Ones from experiential level. All is the Self, and it can observe each other from different points of views. Solipsism: Mind level idea. All others all living zombies, there's none conscious but "my -ego" which is an illusion. What the fuck? And have you noticed, that God-realization might be used to justify not dropping an ego? "God" as a word, may have that implication that it's SOMEONE, a Person-like. Buddha forbid using this world, because he knew, that it might be misleading. That's why in Buddhism there's no talking about "God" whatsoever. Ego can very easy trick us into thinking that it's God... and that way avoids disappearing.
  15. Well, that's kinda out of context if we're talking about the same thing. he basically said, that from the point enlightened, the universe takes control, and one's has no free will whatever. But i believe he also said, that he consider it to be very, very unlikely that someone would hurt himself, as you see 'you" in everything. I don't know what to think about Frank Yang though. he seems kinda werid, but all he says it's pure classic buddhist stuff 🙂
  16. Maybe i overreact, i have very sensitive radar for that solipsism stuff after all those Leo-stuff 🙂 maybe you are right. All his other teachings are very nice 🙂
  17. I wonder, if in some parts of Vedanta, solipsism might be used to reach Self-realization. Of course, it lacks that "no - self " part, but maybe it might be useful? I started to think that way, when the suffering was unbearable, all i could do, was surrender and give up that sense of "I', and focuse of my direct experienece. It was moments of pure relax, and joy. Anyway, every other video of him is classic Vedanta stuff: Those 2 videos are pure gold How one appears as many?:
  18. i believe i saw most of his videos. On most of them he explains perfectly, how one consciousness become many, why we can't see through other minds, he accepts the concept of multiple souls/minds/knowers etc. Generally basic Vedata stuff. But this video really hit me hard, as i still struggle with that solipsism terror. Do you have any idea why would he suggest the concept of solipsism in Vedanta? I have never seen it in any other lectures, and i'm not sure what to thinking about it. @Aware Wolf @Faith @Joseph Maynor
