I watched Groundhog Day. Brought up some new ideas, but also discord:

I wonder how many days I need to finally let go those self-referential thoughts and beliefs. Seems like an impossible task, to be selfless. Seems like I can't help it but be this egocentric asshole... It just happens... Out of my control... Or maybe just beliefs.

Right now watching Gladiator, which seems quite good! Principles and virtue yes, but also it sparks some philosophy of society and politics in me. We have come a long journey from the ancient times and the beginning of civilization, though the basic fundamentals are the same. For me it seems we really are the hunter-gatherers and ancient romans, different only in paradigm and technology. It's all so, so fragile.

There must be an effortless way.

Watching The Northman right now. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt11138512/

Seems pretty good from the artistic and visual standpoint. Very thought-provoking, especially if familiar with Spiral Dynamics. It demonstrates the purple and red area. Development, history, morality and ethics stand up.

Though I gotta give a trigger warning, it's quite violent and graphic.

There must be an effortless way.
