@Devin right, abuse begets abuse, not love, confusing abuse for love doesn't make it love. The hoops you need to jump through to give leo the benefit of the doubt here is ludicrous. Maybe, JUST maybe, he's actually fucked up and has been jumping through hoops himself to maintain the belief that this abuser loved him and that he was actually special to him, not just a vulnerable body to use. Then he'd have to deal with that. An underage person cannot give consent to an an adult, it is abuse 100% of the time, and leo is leaving room for there to be exceptiona to this...there aren't. He seems to be saying sometimes it can even benefit the child...like it did him. And then he's also saying SOMETIMES it can cause trauma and so that's why it shouldn't be accepted. Let's break it down, what are some of the implications of being molested at that age; you have to keep it a secret, from everyone, including your parents and all other adults in your life. That alone is huge and inescapable. You have to come to terms with allowing something to be do to you that you don't want, from someone probably look up to and admire. Love comes at a price. Just those 2 things have massive lifelong reverberations.

@Devin he may have intelligence but his pov is sick,, it is informed by sickness, I can't see it any other way. He spouts outrageously sexist rhetoric on his dating forum constantly, the type of things you regularly hear from bitter guys who have a hard time dating women so come up with all sorts of ways to lay the blame at their feet.

He is totally confused, here he is comparing child abuse with casual sex, there couldn't be a more false equivalence than the one he is trying to make here.

Pedophilia is NOT love. It is not love of children. It is abuse of children, it is a product of abuse that results in more abuse. Leo says this should absolute destroy any last shred of credibility he had for anyone. He still defends his abuser. That means unprocessed trauma. Everything he teaches is informed by a baseline of unprocessed trauma. This is what I've been saying forever and this proves it.

"Stop being stupid, pedophilia is love" I've noticed every time he refers to people being stupid he is talking to himself, he is still convincing himself that this predator actually loved him. Therefore his own sexual misconduct is "love". He was groomed and STILL believes what he was groomed to believe by then pedophile, who was "different from other pedophiles" this is an INSANE revelation.

Internalized trauma could even account for his mysterious health condition... to say nothing of his general pompous overcompensating personality.

He just dropped it casually on is blog on 9/15, the subject line "pedophilia is love" he was groomed at molested at 14 and claims the guy who did it truly loved him and it was a purely positive thing that led leo to God eventually. Holly. Shit. There are so many implications here that I needed to bring it here and encourage anyone to help unpack this. First off, him dropping it now so suddenly and casually is a classic sign of repression. Now so much of his sketchy sexism and views that's its totally fine to tale advantage of women under the influence and everything makes so much sense. Thoughts???

A good teacher requires, 1. The skill to identify whether their student is gaining anything from their interactions with you, or are likely to grow with your help, 2. The ethics to not take their money if they identify that the student will not benefit from them. That basically sums up my point here. Be it Phil or anyone
