@JaneThinking in a really simple, physical way though, you can't see your face and still have it attached to your head, except as a reflection which isn't really your face but some other surface.

In the same way we can't think ourselves, we can't judge ourselves, we can't know what we are, without sort of killing ourselves or separating ourselves into two.
