Straight people don't need to put thought into where they are allowed to go to freely express themselves. Neither do gay people except in some backwards town. Phil
Do not try and bend the spoon, that’s impossible. Attempting to ‘get rid of the notion’ doesn’t work. Instead, only try to realize the truth… Hate is an emotion. It’s how the notion feels. …there is no spoon. There are no (gay) people in a dream. Then you’ll see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.” Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions

I've lived in various places in the country and often get mistaken for gay, even though I'm not, and lemme tell you, it's more accepted now than it used to be, but it's still a very different experience to be gay than to be straight, or have people assume you are. Jonas Long
4 minutes ago, Devin said: No, I'm asking. Male strippers are fairly gay, and sexual. A guy in a gay bar is not going to beat the shit out of and maybe murder you if you come on to them, which happens to gay men in non-gay bars. Like, still happens. Yeah, different to be black too, are there black and white bars? Quote Mention
Devin
They should be called friendly bars or hate bars. Quote Mention

Maybe they're called that for the sake of straight people too. Since clearly many hetero boys can't handle the sight of 2 guys kissing. So, if you go in there, you've been warned. Ok but "friendly" might not prepare the unsuspecting hetero boy for a man in a thong on stage. Quote Mention
Rose
As a woman, I also find gay men that are feminine “uncomfortable”. I’ve been to a gay club, I’ve seen gay men wear short skirts, heels, makeup and twerk. It bugged me to see men in that form, made “men” in general less attractive to me and I feel it also made me a bit suspicious that all men could be secretly gay/have that side to them but hide it away. Weirdly, I don’t have the same feeling for very butch lesbians. So highly masculine females are ok for me, but highly feminine males are a bit gross for me. Devin
Hmm, feminine men don't bother me but masculine women do, probably sort of like you said it makes you believe all men might have that feminine side, masculinity in women sort of bothers me in that way too, like I suspect women hide that.
