@Robed Mystic Leo Gura is not a good person. He is manipulative and psychologically abusive. One day he will be paying the price for all the suffering he has caused to people in the name of teachings. I have no empathy for him. Because he is bastardizing spirituality. He is bastardizing God. Wise words, especially the last line. Leo is so lacking in integrity that at this point after everything I saw go down, I don't trust anything that comes out of his mouth as truth. It feels like every word out of his mouth is a lie just to maintain his image. Narcissism is self deception and deceiving others. Finally narcissism boils down to lack of integrity because that's the condition it creates. To me he is the most unethical person in the room, preaching others in a hypocritical sense, meanwhile completely ignoring the elephant in the room, his own selfish ego. It's just vapid lack of integrity masked as health of the forum. First he damages his own image and then sits down repairing it. But he can never let go of his addictions and obsessions.. This is his pattern. You'll witness more damage control in the future, obviously none of it aimed at actual inner change,just outer facades as usual. Leo has shown terrible lack of sensitivity, judgement, character, morality, integrity to suffice his own selfish motives. (My final comment on this thread,because I don't have much time) My final judgment and statement to Leo is this - Lack of integrity cannot take you far, it will eventually destroy everything you create like a termite corroding furniture. At this point I can't tell if Leo is trolling his own followers. This seems like another manipulative tactic from a narcissist's toolbox. As usual, it is never the narcissist's fault. It is always someone else's fault. This time he decided to blame psychedelics. But he never claimed he did psychedelics in the last few weeks. The only claim he made was that he did weed. Yet he never called weed a psychedelic in the way he would usually call dmt. So there is zero proof of recent psychedelic use. Yet he wants to blame his meltdown on psychedelics indirectly. He thinks his gullible crowd will absolutely believe anything he says since they always have, so he can even get away with trolling them. This is his strategic (read psychopathic) way of dealing with the aftermath of the meltdown instead of apologizing and taking accountability. By the way on the same blog page (if anyone noticed) he wrote this - You can't imagine his next strategy. It involves asking his forum what makes a good man and he is going to be making a video on that. Really? He now wants to convince people how he is knows what a good person is, and how impossible it is for him to hurt people if he knows what being a good man entails. Funny. The mental gymnastics he wants to do in order to make people feel like he knows it all and is being his best version. Far from it. He is trying to put rose tinted glasses on people once again to remedy his ruined image like damage control. Everything he does is a facade to make people think good about him. I now choose to embrace skepticism and rational empiricism, and return to atheism as my default position - but in a non-dogmatic manner. As an atheist, I can subjectively choose to call child rape as evil, based on my own logical definition and values. This allows me to ascribe meaning to my reality as a humanist without resorting to twisted and illogical notions of love. I recognize that love is a human virtue, and I strive to embody it through expansive, loving and kind thoughts and actions that benefit other humans and animals. Atheism also gives me the freedom to be myself, own my needs and goals, and choose to do good spontaneously. I understand that life is best played in a collaborative, non-zero-sum manner, and I will strive to enrich and empower others through careful logical considerations and my own authentic heartfelt moral compass. Yes exactly. This is the best part of creating awareness. Here we cannot be controlled by his mods anymore. So we can actually really say what we really feel. A lot of people have even forgotten what to say because of his excessive pressure on people who criticize him.

I'm sorry but I don't take his claims seriously as I have seen it before. He does bait and switch. He will first act aggressive and when he cannot get away with it, he will try to get sympathy of the crowd by playing victim. He will constantly switch between toxic narcissism to vulnerable narcissism. During his vulnerable narcissism bouts, he will act like people have hurt him. When the public has been calmed and appeased, he will switch back to showing aggression. He did this even when he banned Nahm, about how he felt bad for asking him to leave so that he(Leo) won't appear as a bad faith person. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Another one of many masks and stints and ploys that Leo uses to keep the public toxicly attached to him. Leo reminds me of my ex. Whenever I would try to walk away from him, he would immediately bombard me with threats and thoughts of suicide, self harm, poor me, sob story and how he was so lonely without me blah blah blah, trying to make me sympathetic so that I get a change of heart, which made it incredibly difficult for me to leave him. The real fact is that a narcissist feels emotions and sympathy for none other than only themselves. They don't have emotions to begin with. Any emotion they feel is generally a strategy to pull someone closer who is trying to walk away. In rare situations they feel an emotion in the form of self pity where they feel too bad about themselves, they don't hate themselves, they just feel like they are not getting the preferential treatment they think they deserve, they want to feel wanted by people and for that they would go to any lengths, they simply cannot be alone, not because of the fear or emptiness of loneliness like in bpd, but they cannot be alone because they feel intense insecurity and loss of ego when they are alone. He is using all the known techniques that I have already known living with narcissistic people for so long. Even what he is doing currently is toxic and selfish, because instead of letting people go, he wants them to stay so that he does not have to feel lonely or dumped. It's like a toxic boyfriend who continues a relationship only because he doesn't like the idea of being without a girlfriend or being dumped. The root cause of narcissism is a deeply insecure ego that has to win at all costs, even at the cost of damage to others. Leo doesn't need help regarding self harm. He needs a proper therapist who reverse narcissistic behavior by teaching their clients to slowly dis-engage egocentric behavior and cultivate consideration and empathy for others. But he is impermeable to any kind of advice. If he is asked to visit a therapist for narcissism, he will lash out a big No. So there can be no help. The only eventual solution is to abandon him and let him know that he is being toxic to people and he can then find ways to be happy with himself and not trouble/trap people anymore. I know narcissistic abuse because I went through it multiple times. Leo is just the everyday garden variety narcissist that I meet every day. Been there, done that, seen that, known that.

Those who take their own followers for granted can never be capable of empathy. For some people their followers are mere objects and pawns in their grand schemes. They consider their own followers idiots.

@Serenity keep the faith that Leo Gura will eventually be banned from the public space for the sake of emotional and psychological safety of people who come in contact with him and his abuse. Have faith that one day people will wake up and get out of his shackles he has put on them. That's the only way to be positive about it.

Yea he has been going insane with his narcissism reaching a zenith. The above posts submitted by Joseph Maynor are a proof of my predictions regarding Leo and his forum. It's happening sooner than I predicted. If I was the only person who was calling out Leo Gura's insanity, then look at what other users have been saying - Leo is truly going out of hand. Leo needs to be stopped and should be prevented from any contact with the general public because he engaged in severe psychological abuse of his own followers in a desperate attempt to control them.

The trauma of that place is quite heavy. I'm still processing the trauma. I wake up in the middle of the night feeling threatened, scared and panicky. All the words of Leo Gura ringing in my mind. The fear of not being able to impress him enough, his constant gaslighting, the constant feeling that your life is worthless if Leo Gura didn't give you the stamp of approval. Him saying that your life is pointless if you didn't pursue his awakening and feeling dumb inside, all the hate, bitterness, nihilism and negativity of Actualized.org weakening you bit by bit. Yea the trauma is heavy. I hope Leo Gura is totally exposed one day by many many survivors and victims of his dangerous mentally abusive cult on a large scale and these people get justice for whatever harm Leo's teachings and rhetoric did to them. Leo feeds on the minds of vulnerable people by subtly manipulating them into believing that they are nothing without his seal of approval.

@Eternal yeah. He can make people feel like losers because he sets up that kind of a tone. It's psychological abuse on a massive scale and a lot of people don't wake up from it unless it's too late. When they finally wake up, they realize the trail of destruction they felt mentally dealing with him. Because he has been playing on their weak psychology for years to sell them his product. I'm glad I'm free from that place. That place attracts a lot of egotistical people just like Leo who keep worshipping him like naive children. They are happy to be brainwashed by him and their unquestioning loyalty is what Leo demands. Leo has deep character flaws that I highly doubt will ever go away completely. He thrives on his own inflated ego that has been constantly stroked endlessly by his followers. He thinks he is invincible. But he is not. As more and more people see his not so gentle side, they will regret either buying his products or even giving him attention. The best thing to do to Leo is to stop giving him attention and leave him completely. Every little thing you do helps his business. I'm coming across more and more evidence everyday of how people are mentally impacted by this dude. Some people are suicidal. Some people need hospitalization. Some people lose the zest for life. Nobody criticizes Leo on his forum because they're afraid of being banned by him. This is his fear tactic and its almost psychologically abusive, it's psychological control and manipulation. Glad more people are seeing the truth Actualized.org is just a huge marketing strategy for Leo to harvest ideas for his future videos. He personally doesn't care about anyone, not even his own community. There is no community. Actualized.org community is an illusion. The day Leo doesn't like you, he plucks you out like trash and discards you. He is something else on the outside and something else on the inside and this culture is reflected throughout his forum, even in his mods. He'll rip you apart like prey in 2 seconds if things don't go his way. He is incredibly selfish and super smart and clever in exploiting people in the name of spirituality. Everything is a ploy. He will find some way to knock you down if you don't serve his purpose. In hindsight, I learned a lot of lessons on how to deal with a narcissist like him, why you shouldn't be too close to him or trust him too much. You shouldn't follow him or his work or his forum. It's a giant hoax. It's a giant cesspool of ego driven nonsense headed by a guy with a Messiah complex who is super smart in dealing with people. I feel like he preys on mentally ill people and there will be more suicides in the future, if not suicides, people will come out feeling psychologically damaged as a result of his teachings and the horrible unempathetic design of the forum with more mods than members. He pushes people into delicate mental states of nihilism to keep them controlled. He is a narcissistic control freak and his biggest love is dominating and controlling people by instilling fear and preying on their insecurities, instead of establishing trust, and using his ego as a weapon to attack other's ego so he can feel better. Actualized.org as a community is one big toxic narcissistic elitist judgemental family where you will be constantly guilted and made to feel like a sinner and an outcast. Leo is the toxic head of this family. You're in his good books as long as you parrot him. The moment you challenge him and his authority, he cancels you and starts gaslighting you. Leo is the worst narcissist I came across in my entire life.

A section where you don't need to constantly have this mental battle as to what section your thread or topic belongs to. You could literally post anything, like a general off topic miscellaneous section. It would be a fun addition to the forum where you can post daily stuff you come across on the internet, something that is interesting to read when you're bored of other topics. Nothing specific. Just general and a broad category that can literally cover any miscellaneous subject. It's nice to create to create it below the society sub forum at the bottom. So it will stay low key that way. You can title this sub forum as "off topic, entertainment, unwind, miscellaneous, relax and general" category. It might sometimes be a distraction but we sometimes need a break to cool off from serious topics on other parts of the forum. We can also post megathreads and gigathreads in this section. Hopefully. I like this idea of such a section and it will give an additional boost to the forum.

I knew it. I have been able to read his mind so easily now. I already knew he was preparing for this. I mean that's how his mind operates. I hate to break it, but it's a potent sign of psychopathy(as I'm a student of psychology), and he is exhibiting those signs, pre-planning is one hallmark sign.

I've been studying general narcissism and NPD since 3 years now and my conclusion is the exact same. He is a top tier narcissist and what he is engaging in the website is pure narcissistic abuse. A lot of people there don't realize that they're subtly being exposed to narcissistic abuse. It's the mental and emotional equivalent of being exposed to harmful radiation and it leaves a trail of destruction that you only recover from once you begin to go away from it.

@Orb @Rose right now Leo opened a thread "are you a narcissist?" Lmao the irony. A narcissist asking others if they're narcissists. He stated there the average US adult score is somewhere at 15 and his own score is 13. He is trying to use the line of reasoning that he is less narcissistic than the average American. His mental gymnastics is amazing to watch. This will be his future defense against any claims of narcissism that anyone will make against him. He is already preparing for how to combat claims on his narcissism, well in advance. Instead of actually focusing on how to combat his own narcissism, he is mentally gearing to defend himself well in the future against any viable criticism. He doesn't spend his time in rectifying himself, he would rather spend it in showing how he is not a big deal and all his flaws are minor. His shadow is quite strong. He simply cannot accept any criticism and has to find some loophole to defend himself. He won't believe even if the entire world is screaming at him. He is a lost cause..
