IDK what I am feeling lol I did 10 min meditation I feel calm

Awesome. It’s nice noticing the horseshit dissipates all on it’s own isn’t it? As opposed to it having to be solved etc.

I asked u about the feeling in the chest before it's a weird sweet feeling is it contentment & peace or just vitality & awareness? It magnifies when I meditate whenever I feel it I do a meditation session to dwell more on it.

then it fades and returns after a short time so I guess it's a feeling up on the scale

Thought appears about… and conceptualizes (the sweetness) as ‘a feeling’. Then it seems like feeling is plural, as if there are feelings.

Meditation, allowing thought activity to settle, feeling is un-obscured, seems more pronounced (also technically according to thought).

Then thought again arises with context, about how ‘the feeling’, as if a thing or object, magnifies when an I, as if a thing or subject, meditates.

Therein, the distinction of emotions scale wise, and guidance for thoughts wise (as opposed to feelings).

As emotions like frustration & pessimism are ‘felt into’ fully… no separation is found in feeling directly, (as compared to thoughts about feeling, implying separation)…  just the total awesomeness that you are. Ineffable. (‘Sweetness’).

The significance put on saying ‘peace be his name’ is pretty wise, isn’t it?

It brings the source of thoughts to attention.

Ultimately, we are all nothing. However, you still have an ego to write these sentences.

Mushrooms are great. Psychedelics are great. They’re also pretty powerful and can blow through subtleties. ‘They’ also don’t actually exist. 🙂

We aren’t nothing - we aren’t at all. There is no we. That little nuance, that little thought, maybe was blown through. Awesome, all for it, but yet can ‘come back around’ to be aligned.

No one has an ego to write these sentences… this is thoughts arising, about there being a doer / doers, egos, writers and sentences. This is literally appearance. “Writing itself” if you will. There’s no “ultimately”, nor is there “time”. “That’s” THIS. (Nothing, you ♥️). I’m not talking to you, nor am I talking to myself - I’m not talking. Period. There’s no “talker”, there nobody “here” lol.

Lol. When you have a small pain, you won't be able to remember your sentences believe me, ego never leaves.

Subtle nuances like this as well. There’s no you which has pain. Nothing (you) is being the whole show, and therein pain (sensation) as well.

There’s nobody that remembers, nobody that has sentences, nobody here to believe or be believed, no ego which never leaves.

This subtle nuances stand to be de-contextualized as arising context which imply there is something.

Namely some thing which isn’t This, or the present / The Present. 🎁

    * Onlookers… which there aren’t, do your research and be responsible for set, setting & dose or you’ll very much wish you did.

    Then of course, boredom.

Boredom is indeed quite boring, like peace… but peace which is without frustration & pessimism.

So if thoughts arise as boredom is considered, and frustration and or pessimism is felt… express (share here if you like, it’s encouraged) those thoughts.

Let em out. Empty the barrels! Burn this whole place down brother.

  4. @Isagi Yoichi

Thoughts might arise… and pessimism may be felt.

Do the same. Allow pessimism to be fully felt.

Feel free to share whatever those thoughts are. Doesn’t matter if it’d otherwise be labelled as bitching, complaining, venting, etc. It’s encouraged. How thoughts & interpretations feel has nothing to do with what anyone else thinks about it. One aspect is it’s about expression, letting it out.

@Reena @Phil Let me attempt to clarify.  You can realize your ego is not Yours and that You doesn't control you.  I know this sounds a bit cray cray at first.  You have be open to the idea that the ego is not connected to the Self and actually doesn't even exist.  This is not about shaming the ego, it's much deeper than that.  Anyway, this is hard to communicate.  Think of the Self as a handheld mirror and the ego as what's being displayed in the mirror.  The mirror when it has awoken to its true nature doesn't even care what is being displayed in its lens so to speak.  It knows it's the mirror and regardless of what is being displayed in its lens, it is not existentially affected by any of that as the mirror.  What is displayed in the mirror's lens is the illusion of reality.  The Truth of Reality is the existence of the Mirror or the Self.  That's a good pointer as to the relation between the ego and the Self that I got from Adi Shankara.  You can see how the ego is an illusion of the Self but not the Self and why the Self is not concerned with ego.  The Self is not threatened at all by ego.  But imagine the mirror thought it was what was being displayed in its lens!  That would be mistaking the ego to be the Self.  The Mirror is the Witness to what's being displayed in its lens.  Notice how the Mirror is unchanging too and outside of the change going on in what it's Witnessing.  It's outside of space and time and also Omniscient and Omnipresent because it knows the Truth of what is being displayed (but not Real) and what it is as the Self.  It's Self-realized as the Mirror.  The power of the Advaita Vedanta pointer.  I'm kind of in love with this right now to be honest.  But you gotta let it work on you, it's not just theory.  It has to get under your skin and for me it kinda has.  I'm re-integrating it because I've studied this stuff for years.  I have more clarity now as to the Self vs. the not-Self distinction.  Other people are in the lens too.  The only thing that exists is the one Mirror itself.

Nice. That’s about as convoluted as possible. I couldn’t make heads or tails of that either.

Now, what would that there is only Self ‘look’ like?

Are there toxic individuals, manipulators, chronic liars, narcissists, enegery drainers and drama seekers?

    If yes, who knows this?

If no - why might it seem like there is?

There isn't a reason maybe bec I hate college and the field I am studying

Expression wise as in emptying… awesome.

Is it getting out of your own way? Not quite yet.

The “you that hates” is what’s in Your way.

You don’t hate. You do experience (the emotion) hatred.

    How about discouragement?

    Felt?

With respect to the deadline and possibly a sense of urgency… this getting out of your own way thingy takes maybe ten minutes.

  7. @Isagi Yoichi

Since you are yourself, maybe the concept of you forcing your self is obscuring, getting in the way?

And maybe the enjoyable way involves ‘getting out of your own way’…?

    Make any sense?

It could be that there is an underlying limiting belief that you can’t / aren’t able to, and maybe guidance is felt such as powerlessness, unworthiness…?

  8. @Isagi Yoichi

Obviously in that context you’d have to find or hire someone to force you. Or maybe join the military to receive the militant approach.

Or of course, a different context.

Maybe this is more related to that, what you mentioned about your dad, than studying.

Maybe that’s why when Phil asks for proper grammar, the pendulum swings to the far other side, overusing capitols. Some transference is experienced perhaps. Onto studying as well.
