I just got this crazy idea that because they seem to cause such an intense reaction & athletes use them to 'wake up', that they could also be used to snap out or get energized when discordant thought loop or lethargy happens. Mandy Posted April 5 Share Posted April 5 🤷♀️ A few months ago I passed out getting blood drawn because I was dehydrated and they couldn't find a vein (don't have your blood drawn when you're dehydrated) and they used the ammonia to wake me up. I smelled it for days after like a phantom thing, it was bizarre. I think I'd rather just take a really deep breath or splash water on my face as long as I'm still awake, but whatever you're inspired to.
