Reena
I forgot even Rebecca had autism. Rebecca is Joseph's ex wife. Joseph used to often talk about her autism and how it Worsened their marriage. Rebecca is part German and Joseph is part Italian. Now I understand her struggle. Having a husband like Joseph and battling autism at the same time must have been so hard for Rebecca and she was just like my mom. My mom struggles with severe autism too. Now i completely understand her. It takes one autist to understand the symptoms of another. Many things must have been hard for my mom. But it can get better with management although its too late for her sort of. Quote Mention So basically I'm an autistic INFJ BPD sigma Pisces female with anger and CPTSD issues. Wow wow. Reena
First thing I need to do is tackle my autism and not be negative about it. I know it's a harrowing experience to get an autism diagnosis and I received this diagnosis long ago. But not too long ago. I wish I knew in my early growing years as a teen on high functioning autism. It's only after several psychiatric tests and visits with different psychiatrists that they finally figured out my autism and the diagnostic tests proved it. I have problems with non verbal communication and communication in general. In all of it the fact that I worked hard to improve my English ( given language is such a huge hurdle with autism) it's quite impressive . All I needed was a push in the right direction and a bit of a compassionate guidance and parenting and my autism would have improved significantly in my teen years. I was unlucky. I was very hard working. I simply needed a huge support system. But no worries. I'll become my own support system and I will pull myself out of this autism ditch. Reena
I also understand now after a long long time that mental illness can cause weird behavior. I was being nasty to a person online and due to my mental illness I didn't realize it at the time. It was difficult for me to differentiate between right and or wrong behavior. Reena
They might include special diets, herbal supplements, chiropractic care, animal therapy, arts therapy, mindfulness, or relaxation therapies. Individuals and families should always talk to their doctor before starting a complementary and alternative treatment. Autism specific diet. I think herbal teas have helped me a bit. I can literally scan my autism. I can tell when my autism is high versus low. It's like a fog and it gets more foggy on certain Days than others. Usually if I'm in a constant bad mood then I tend to develop the fog. The autism is strong and I feel spacey. Spaced out. This is also unfortunately a borderline condition too. Both autism and borderline are actually difficult to treat. What kind of music is great for Autism? Reena
Regarding caffeine and coffee. I see good improvements in my autism with caffeine intake. Also the same effect with my Brooke Bond roses tea. Although autistic people have to be careful since they could be potentially sensitive to coffee and caffeine. So only consume as much as the sensitivity allows.
