Difference between pre-ego & enlightenment

Recommended Posts

It's like watching a movie in which a child grows up, it's not saying enlightenment is the baby, or the end product after all the character development and transcendence, it's saying that the enlightenment is the screen on which the movie plays.

Enlightenment is pre-ego with understanding.  The baby lacks the understanding.  But that pre-ego that a baby has is what has to be re-discovered once we mature as adults.  I'm using your terminology "pre-ego", but I think I made a clear enough statement that points out what I wanted to point out.
