The dating apps dont work. At all. This is actually a real problem in the USA. The problem with these swipe right or left dating apps is that men disproportionately have WAY LESS matches than women. So dating apps have become like the female equivalent of what porn does for men. Its an app that provides you with an unnaturally high amount of options with males. Imagine you have a couple matches and youre texting those girls, those girls youre texting have a shitload of matches and on top of that they are getting 5-10 matches every 5 minutes maybe even less. The problem with this is that it leads to women becoming more and more picky and 80% of the guys on these apps are ignored completely. You have no idea how many times ive tried to start off conversations by being nice and warm and etc. only to be completely ignored 90% of the time because the girl im texting has like 50 guys messaging her all at once, this form of "dating" is simply unsustainable and will not work unless you have a lot of resources. This high volume of men that women have access to leads to them becoming bored more easily and more choosy and having unrealistic expectations (similar to how porn gives men unrealistic expectations of how women should act and look). Wanna know something funny? I once matched with this really beautiful girl and i messaged her and no response whatsoever for 2 days. Then i decided id fuck around and experiment so i told her i had 3 businesses and work all the time and how i enjoy the fruits of my success but want to start dating now (subtly implying im rich asf!). And you know what? She texted me back with PARAGRAPHS. MOTHERFUCKING PARAGRAPHS. 😭 After that shit i deleted it 🥲. Online dating is a joke in the USA.
