What does Phil mean by The Emotional Guidance?

Before jumping to the next higher emotion, there is the acknowledgment of the emotion presently felt.

I understand.  Suppose I feel jealousy. And I express it to the brim (literally writing 10 pages on my expression journal). Then HOW to express the next emotion? Because I'm not experiencing it .

As ‘my own problem’ feels not great, which emotion on the scale seems to be most likely felt?

Pessimism.  The next one is boredom. So how do I move from Pessimism to boredom?  These are two drastically different emotions.

Emotion isn’t felt in a future.

What needs to happen or change, for you to feel contentment?

Yup.  It is felt here & now .

So the suggestion in the page on the emotional scale is to express the next emotion after you've expressed the previous one without skipping.  I'm curious how is that done ? Can you give me an example?

This Is a general question or just pertaining to the emotional scale ?

Rather than an example, focus (effortlessly) and simply, on the emotion experienced now.

You mentioned pessimism. Is pessimism experienced, as guidance for the thought, ‘my own problem’?

@Someone here

What needs to happen or change for you to feel contentment (right now)?

That's a big a question.

I need a lot of things ...money ..my own house ..my own car ..my own wife/girlfriend..my own social circle ..good health and being free from smoking addiction that took a toll on me ..consciously creating what I want . My dream life .

So basically a lot of materialistic pursuits

I'm not spiritually advanced as to say that happiness is my true nature and I can be blessed out just sitting  in meditation doing nothing . I need stimulation.  Netflix...porn..movies..video games ..smoking etc etc

I suggest you dopamine detox first so you can work on things you want with sober head and more clarity. You need to change drastically if you want results.

I think, instead of trying to jump to a higher frequency, it is more beneficial to simply acknowledge what your current frequency, or emotion, is, and just allow yourself to relax into it and surrender to it. And i don't think it is not really very important for the scale to be precise for your experience, because i think it is just created as a possible road map.

The key is to help you acknowledge how you are feeling and what you are thinking briefly, without getting too lost in the details, and relax into it by acknowledging it, so to speak. Trying to make a jump to a higher frequency actually turns you even further upstream, at least in my experience, hmm.

Lol I can't.  I just can't okay ? Like ..I JUST  CAN'T 😂

Then you will same results in your life over and over again.I've done it and my mood get elevated and I felt happier overall, more productive and I find joy in learning new skills which I can monetize for more money. One bit I am not interested in non duality I see it just as empty philosophy which doesn't contribute to quality of your life.

Then your vibration is not very high since you are attracting me.

Do these aspects need to change for you to feel contentment with this moment as it is?
