Phil
Just cause it’s so good…. Our Deepest Fear By Marianne Williamson Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others. Allow some of that light to shine! You are beauty! You are love! You are the light! 🙏 Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions
Orb
Relatable 😁. Quote Mention "Mediocrity is gone. Mind is clear of limitation. I seek no state of enlightenment. Neither do I remain where no enlightenment exists. Since I linger in neither condition, eyes cannot see me. If hundreds of birds strew my path with flowers, such praise would be meaningless." - A Comment on the 8th Ox Herding Picture
WhiteOwl
Nice timing. I have been thinking about this lately. When i make music i enjoy it a lot, up until the later stage where i have to finish the track. Then i kind of feel some anxiety and pressure, and kind of feel like staying away from doing it, and i think thats related to having difficulty showing my "best" side. That has always been a problem. "I" am used to always excuse myself. It's scary to just go for it. Here in Denmark we have a really ingrained cultural belief called "Janteloven (Jantelaw)". It says to not show that you are better than other people, and that you shouldn't make yourself noticed (showing off being good at something). Influences people here a lot i think. Orb
@Phil what was shared here hit me hard not too long ago. The nature of aversion became clear, and it's quite interesting how we fear feeling, feeling is what we are, so why would we be afraid of what we are? Quote Mention "Mediocrity is gone.
