What can be done? Why doesn't it work if I say to myself that things do not suck, that I have more than enough and I should be more grateful, that I'm not a failure, that I'm doing the best I can, etc...?

Good point. I tried to feel like I already have it without actually having it, and sometimes I truly do feel that way, and its very nice. But if I try to fake it, if it's inauthentic, if what I'm saying to myself or out loud is not held to be true, is 'out of alignment', is fake... Then it only pisses off the beast within me more.

As feeling is meditatively unobscured of beliefs / thoughts / thinking / thought activity about there being a separate self which knows about feeling, feeling is unfettered. Feeling is in & of itself not only the profound wholeness, completeness and utter satisfaction sought, but is already the case. 

 

That this is not true or not already the case is like clouds appearing & making claims that the sun is not shining.
