Blessed2
For some time now reincarnation has been more or less present on my path and I want to share some insight as to why the idea of reincarnation is sometimes used in non-dual teachings and how it can help you. First of all, no-one really reincarnates. Like the TV screen is already the only thing there is and the movie that seems to be appearing never actually has any reality, no-one already is in a body or in this world. There is no body and no world. So there is no reincarnation. When you close your physical eyes, you see darkness. Or to be more specific, you don't actually see darkness. Darkness is not a thing, like an opposite of light. Darkness is the lack of seeing. Similarly, when you close your symbolic eyes from truth (buy duality), you see the world. The world is darkness. It is lack of seeing. When you close your eyes from eternal life, what seems to replace it (though never actually has any reality), is "life" with beginning and ending. That's Samsara. Samsara is often referred to as cyclical existence. This is because when you believe a thought, that thought seems to be true forever. The belief that death is real and has a real function does not end when you die, because you don't really die. Because that "death" is a belief! A belief does not end by believing it more. 😁 Death is just more dreaming! That's what reincarnation points to. When you "die" (seem to die) while continuing to hold the belief that the death has reality, you won't find yourself in Nirvana. The belief of death remains, and the dream of "life" with beginning and ending proceeds. Therefore for example, suicide is not a solution. It wouldn't wake you up. Also continuing to hold your projections and illusions while awaiting for death to release you from the suffering will not work either. A belief does not end by believing it more. This nightmarish dream continues, even if death seems to happen. It continues until you end it. So don't let "death" fool you. It has no function. It resolves nothing. What counts is your commitment to escape this trick of suffering. Remember the Path. In this life. Today. Blessed2
When your body and your ego and your dreams are gone, you will know that you will last forever. ²Perhaps you think this is accomplished through death, but nothing is accomplished through death, because death is nothing. ³Everything is accomplished through life, and life is of the mind and in the mind. ⁴The body neither lives nor dies, because it cannot contain you who are life. ⁵If we share the same mind, you can overcome death because I did. ⁶Death is an attempt to resolve conflict by not deciding at all. ⁷Like any other impossible solution the ego attempts, it will not work.
