Resisting Resistance

I've been sitting down wondering what specific condition is being held for happiness to be felt. 

 

The condition held is that I have to be feeling good in order to allow happiness. 

 

I feel drained from watching lots of porn and overeating, and I notice that I cannot let go of the condition held (that I must be free from porn and not feeling drained to allow happiness). 

 

Then I try to let go of the condition, but it only makes things worse. 

 

Like first there's resistance, then there's resisting the resistance by trying to make it go away. 

 

Is it better to try to let go of resistance or to stop resisting the resistance and just suffer 🤔.  

 

What if the key to end suffering is to fully allow suffering without the added suffering of trying to make the suffering stop?

I´ve found that seeing that your suffering is your 'assigned karma' helps a lot in accepting it.

 

See your suffering as the fuel that has been created for you in order to get to liberation

 

Over indulging in porn sucks, I know how that feels. But im sure it's not that bad, at least probably you are not into hot brats taking your money and humiliating you harshly for it as me. 🤣

Isn’t the idea that you have to stop or let go of the resistance actually the resistance?
There isn’t anything to let go of, or the letting go of is actually just what is naturally occurring constantly.
Impermanence. 
 

It is ok to just feel some of something and then go back to it. Breathe in and out. Inquire, relax, inquire, relax. Focus on the intention, on curiosity, and well-being. 
 

Here is the thing with the trapped resistance energies. They are trying to protect you, and it might not be time for defence mechanisms/ armouring to be let go of. Deprogram slowly with intense passionate curiosity and smooth calm relaxation. You don’t need to process the entirety of a repressed/ suppressed energy all right now today. We can allow ourself space/ time, to breathe, to allow the resistance to settle, repression to come out from the inside, and the stories trapped in the body to melt through expression.

@ConsciousDreamer666 don't let those ladies humiliate you 🥲 tell them you are that!!! And so are they 🙂

 

@Loop I like your understanding of trauma and emotional stuff. I've been doing TRE for many days in a row and letting stuff come up and out. Although it still seems like the right way so to speak is to stop resisting resistance. Like if you find yourself not satisfied with the moment, why not just stay there? Instead of saying oh no I shouldn't be resisting this moment, this is wrong.
