Orb
Can I really feel loved no matter what? Can I feel so loved on my own that I don't need a relationship? Or another person? Devin
@Orb you can't really ever feel loved, you are love, you can feel love. No person or thing will ever make you feel love. You are love, you can't escape it, you can't attain it, you can feel it, and you can not notice it, but it's always there, that loving feeling is you, you experiencing you Edited October 29, 2022 by Devin Quote Mention

Stormy night? Do you ever take time and watch it, and just feel and enjoy it? You can do that with everything actually, appreciate it, love, for some weird reason a nice glass of water is even an easy one for me, but nature tends to be easier to see it and experience it We're taught to not like things, not appreciate them, that covers up love Edited October 29, 2022 by Devin Quote Mention
Mandy
The choices are not independence vs dependence. Appreciation is alignment. I cannot appreciate and also notice that someone else is not appreciating me, but I can always appreciate and feel that appreciation directly. I think it is, seems so to me, independence seems way better than dependence. 8 hours ago, Mandy said: Appreciation is alignment. Appreciation is fleeting, I want Love always. @Devin yea sometimes the different phenomena of the world are beautiful. That can't be the love I'm looking for. @Phil I better be on my way there 😢. This little self stuff is boring now. Quote Mention "I shall give you what no eye has seen, and what no ear has heard, and what no hand has touched, and what has never entered into the human heart. Seems that way to someone who think he's missing out on some superior quality, but if you think dependence and independence are separate and at odds real independence will continue to elude you. Only from a perspective of separation are you dependent on sun and air and water, yet from a the perspective of appreciation these things are you. 1 hour ago, Orb said: This hurts my brain, it's too stretchy, it means this is true. Appreciation and love are one and the same, you just make a big deal out of your idea of love and so miss the actuality and so the word appreciation is more powerful to bring you back to the present and actuality of love. 🤷♂️It's as simple as finding some little thing to appreciate, like the way it feels when you take a deep breath and relax, or the way the light falls on a glass of water. In a way you're right, you're looking for a Hollywood love story concept of love. Elaborate on the love you're looking for, you can do this privately to yourself if you want, you'll see the holes. Mind games, projection, conceptualizing the guidance, etc, all just kinda naturally become less alluring & fizzles out upon a certain maturity.
