Massages for well-being

So I have a theory that all anxiety and negativity manifests in the body as tension and knots. In my case it feels like certain areas have been tense for so long that just redirecting my thoughts isn’t quite doing the trick. I recently started doing deep tissue massages and they have been super helpful beyond just some relaxation post massage. Since I’ve started doing the massages I’ve noticed certain bad habits and habitual thought patterns have dropped away.


Curious if anyone else has experienced this? I don’t ever hear anyone talking about these benefits from massages.
