Bob Seeker
I am looking for any techniques you may have found for getting underneath your beliefs, and no longer believing them, especially the beliefs related to separation or selves. What I’ve thought of so far is writing the beliefs down in a journal just asking myself “is this really true”, maybe doing this as a daily practice. Anything you all have found that might work well? Phil
The illusion of separation & of separate selves is the presently appearing activity of thought. The dispelling of the believing of presently appearing thoughts is the questioning of what’s actually experienced; thought, perception, or sensation? So if it is a thought, I can know I am safe to not believe it. If it is a perception or a sensation then there is no problem anyway, right? Is the I which can know, is or isn’t safe, which there maybe or may not be a problem for… thought, perception or sensation? It is a thought. A thought, then thoughts about “things” relating to it. I think a subject and an object and a verb, like a sentence, I’m pretty sure.
