What do we do with people who say they don’t get or don’t care for metal yet have never listened to it insanely loud?

What do we even do with these people?

Nail them to the cross the traitors!

Or maybe we teach them about the emotional scale, alignment, etc. That could broaden their perspective.

Jk

No people that like no metal, obviously.

Metallica at it’s spiritual pinnacle.

Wonderful choice, but almost does not count, since it was already posted on the previous page 😜

Metallica is more or less gold up until and including the black album. After that, myeah... goldish 😄

If I had to narrow it down... It's either Master Of Puppets or And Justice For All, or both. That's peak Metallica, imo. Or is it The Black Album? Fuck! 😅

I can't remember anything
Can't tell if this is true or a dream
Deep down inside I feel to scream
This terrible silence stops me

And this is for when you're waking up from the dream of being an ancient Egyptian God.

Too good!

I hath driven back chaos and disorder
The conquered chiefs of all foreign lands are beneath my sandals
I hath emblazoned my countless victories in immortality
Carved in rocks as living images of the ritual massacre of mine enemies

Black metal might be a sub genre that I gave the least attention to. It just never really resonated. I feel like on one's metal journey, there comes a time where one must choose either left or right. Either Black Metal or Death metal.

I obviously fell in love with death. Big times.

But, I do resonate with black metal sometimes. Love black metal influences in other sub genres too.

This... is probably the most love I felt for it... This song is just monumental. It's like an anthem. Just epic.

Some truly magical symphonic black metal

Meshuggah... is simply put... the Zen Master of metal.

Nothing quite like this band in the entire youniverse.

@Phil @Joseph Maynor Care to look into/dissect these lyrics real quick?  I think they are absolutely gorgeous.

What solace lies in the arms of fate
The ill embrace of uncertainty
When did I leave this in other hands
To be pulled down at chance

Ripped away by destiny-claws
Am I another of fate's possessions
Dwelling the lie of freedom
Just another straw pulled at random

Reclaimed by deceiving time
A silent judgment I can not overrule

Drawn back into the origin-vortex
Uprooted and ground to dust
Retracted into anti-existence
A magnet repelled by life's polarity

Denied the self control of fate
we flow suspended in semi-life
Until the ever imminent day
when oblivion claims our breath

Nowhere indefinitely. Not dead, not alive
Existence-patterns ripped of symmetry. As will and
fate divide

Have I appeased the gods of fate
Am I allowed another day
Must I die to escape
the scanning eyes of death

More truth has been said in this song than in any other spiritual mumbo jumbo video.

What pain will it take to satisfy
Your sick appetite?
Go in for the kill

Always in sight
Prey
The time always right
Feast

Feed on the pain
Taste
Sorrow made flesh
Sweet

Live how you want
Just don't feed on me
If you doubt what I say
I will make you believe

Shallow are words
From those who starve
For a dream not their own to
Slash and scar

Big words, small mind
Behind the pain you'll find a scavenger
Of human sorrow

Scavenger

Ours is not to question the reasons why
Crippled indecision repeats the path I once denied
Insignificant, am I?

The color of sundown, of crimson sky
The beauty that breaks down
And gives the day unto the night

And then one day you'll realize
Just a speck in the spectrum
Insignificant, am I?

And then one day you'll realize
The beauty that breaks down
never learns the reason why

This is the nastiest, rawest, heaviest piece of music you will ever hear. It's called "Brutal Slam Death Metal". Or just... "SLAM!"

This actually is what parents thought Metallica was back in the 80s. Or Kiss in the 70s.

The Devil!😂

It's the best.

A brainwashed humanity falls to its KNEEEEEEEEEESSSS

These guys are one of the biggest and the best in the game currently. They can slam their asses off, for sure.

But Alex The Terrible... That dude is just nuts. Those vocals are Satan himself speaking. Made in Russia!
