Blessed2 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) The message is that there's selfing, or activity called ego going on. When you hear that message, you hear it "as" the character. You think it's you who's doing the selfing / ego stuff. When that happens, the interpretation is that "I have an ego. You have an ego. People have egos." etc. Then it seems like it's all your fault. And that others are at fault too. And that you and them must do this and that to make the selfing / ego activity stop. You're not doing the ego stuff. The character is the product of the selfing / ego. Selfing / ego is the exact activity of taking yourself as what you're not (the character). It's not the characters fault. It has nothing to do with it. It's not your fault. It's not up to you. It's not a choice you make. Would it be Santa Clause's fault that you believe he exists? Would it be up to Santa Clause to end, let go or get rid of the belief in Santa Clause? 7:30 -> Edited March 7 by Blessed2 Quote Mention If you aren't outrageously happy, you're functioning at a fraction of your potential.

The identification as a self comes after the selfing. Quote Mention You're a thought. Do you think a thought is going to occupy 'no thought'. The 'changeless' can be realized only when the ever-changing thought-flow stops.
