Do you see how with text there’s a lot more ‘room’ to add assumptions, where as with video, and much more so having a live communication wether in person or Zoom, there is less ‘room’?

You noticed there is less room for assumptions when there is video or face to face conversation, in comparison to text.

To the extent that assumptions can even arise about there being two Phils.

 

What about with thoughts arising, about there being a second self?

 

Do you see how those thoughts could be believed as well, and this would be a similar experience of assumptions?

 

For example… thoughts about a second self, which isn’t present, but is believed to be present, and to have a past as well?
