WhiteOwl Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 It can be difficult to know exactly what you feel or think about something, while you can surely feel a lot of discord when thinking about the topic. In my case right now its about this women i am seeing. We had a discussion and now i feel discord thinking about seeing her. not sure which emotions exactly. how do i find out what its about? it could be a lot of things. question is also related to any topic really, as sometimes its hard to figure out what the feeling to be expressed and let go is. Help me out with clarity on the inquiry here. The title is about how to know what discord felt is about. But there in the op there’s a subtle change to what you feel or think. I’m confused by this, as the title seems to be about the discord, while the op seems to be about knowing about someone else. 14 minutes ago, WhiteOwl said: In my case right now its about this women i am seeing. Seems to be about the thinking, about her. 14 minutes ago, WhiteOwl said: it could be a lot of things. Yeah. Thought is truly magical in that way. 14 minutes ago, WhiteOwl said: question is also related to any topic really, as sometimes its hard to figure out what the feeling to be expressed and let go is. How was that actually accomplished, what was it like? Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions

Phil Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 @WhiteOwl What role does knowing play? Does knowing seem to be illuminating, clarifying, or obscuring, confusing, ‘getting in the way’ of seeing clearly? Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions

Or does it that’s the fucking question. I do feel some tension/emotion though but what does it mean. i want to want to see her. But something is discordant around that. I feel worry we wont have a good time. I feel worry it will be like last time. That I will feel unworthiness. i feel worry and discourgament “I am not funny enough” Edited December 13, 2023 by WhiteOwl Quote Mention

Sorry, I’m not sure what’s meant by “it”. The discord…? Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions

Believing the discord is about her, as opposed to how thoughts feel. 4 minutes ago, WhiteOwl said: i hope its about self referential thoughts. Or it is Yes. It is. Sometimes it’s helpful to reference an extreme example, to draw out the distinction. The most extreme example I’m aware of as far as self referential thoughts seeming to be known but actually being belief(s) is Clayton Bigsby. Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions
