  1. I apologize for misreading your innitial post, and missing the part where he unmatched you. I thought he just stopped replying to you. Either way, you are right in that he definitely should have explicitly told you about him not wanting to push things forward due to work. That is indeed cowardly. I thought I liked advice of other people here more than my own, since they understand you better than I do. So you can try it out, see if it works for you. Wish you luck
  2. You don't even know what you want, yet you have a bucket list of traits you don't want. That surely won't lead to any good outcome for you. Whatever that is - since you don't even know what "good outcome" is yourself. If you think not pursuing a love interest in a corporate enviroment is an act of cowardice, then you are very deluded. The last thing I'd want, is to spoil my place of work, where I'm supposed to be productive and make money to survive, with unprofesionalism. That's straight up dangerous. Noone here is gonna tell you this probably, but the only way to actually "solve" this issue, is to make your standards more realistic, turn inwards. Which doesn't necesarilly mean lowering them. For example, I can understand why you would not want to date entitled, whiny men. Or men with no finances and life of their own. Etc. But judging men for their conversation starters? Get out of here. I assure you that you are not perfect yourself. Get real
  3. Just to add this one thing, as a sort of a side tangent; and/or for entertainment purposes This is Leo's post about his future forum reformation efforts, to make it more mature, cracking down on immaturity, etc. from 25th of January. That of course, in and of itself, isn't bad. However, just look at the way he's describing himself in relation to others. Look at the words he uses. "Privilage"? "Luxury"? Let's use some critical thinking for a second, and let's think about this. Is it really a "privilage" to speak and associate with Leo? Sure, he's provided a lot of relative value to his audience, and many people claim that he completely transformed their lives. And I'm not taking that away from him. There is no way to verify validity of those claims anyway. However, that being said. Who the fuck is Leo in the grand scheme of things, really? Like, what original ideas has he actually came up with, what has he actually achieved, for me to be "honoured" and "privilaged" to be his friend? Who is he really? I'll leave that as an open question for everyone to think about
  4. That's actually something I haven't even thought about. But you have a point LOL it could potentially be (and is) a very good sales tactic. Then again, it also actually IS a serious stuff, especially if what he's claiming is indeed true. Which of course, is a possibility, as there's no way to prove solipsism wrong to a solipsist. Then again, there's also no way to prove it right, because just because you have experienced being conscious of being God, and just because the only way to know something exists is throught directly becomming conscious of it, doesn't mean that your direct experience is always infallible. And I find it very strange that Leo has somehow forgotten about this fact, because I know for a fact that he's aware of this. And yet, he for some reason, thinks this doesn't apply to his God realizations. At the end of the day, there's nothing actually constructive about believing you are God (whether you have directly experienced it or not, doesn't matter) - it leads to a dead end. Nothing is going to change in ones reality by having this realization, other than one's perception of it. And in my opinion, the most honest and truthfull epistemological claim one can make about reality, is "I don't know." Because that's the truth. None of us actually knows.
  5. I thought that Truth doesn't need defending
  6. How do you know for sure, that your awakening isn't just completely subjective experience? After all, you idealists always like to criticize science, non objectivity of science, it's relativity and bias, etc.
  7. No it's not. LOL but he surely makes it seem as if he's claiming something completely unique, never said before, or something that scientists, philosophers etc. never ever pondered about. As if his philosophy of idealism mixed with drug enhanced solipsism, his ideas about non duality and his arguments against scientific materialism, are his inventions. Of course fucking not LOL but his pleasant, inteligent and seemingly warm way of speaking surely makes it seem as if he's some sort of genius. In reality, if we take into account just how goddamn long his videos really are, he really doesn't say much. He says maybe 3-6 main ideas/points per each 3 hour video.
  8. You are definitely exaggerating the bad things and traits about Leo, and are currently quite hyperfixated on him. Which is fine of course, I understand that the way he communicates his message to a more vulnerable demographic of people, isn't ideal. HOWEVER. That being said. Putting what I've previously said aside. There is definitely something sinister and scary about the way he teaches spirituality, and his particuliar constant fixation on death, Ego death, and his constant use of extremely negative examples just to make his point, such as pedophilia, holocaust, rape, suicide etc. There's just something messed up about it. Not to mention his delusional grandiose claims during his psychadelic trips, about him being omniscient (and then being proven wrong by an Amazon guy right afterwards), him saying that his new awakening transcended the awakenings of Buddha, Jesus etc. (as if he can possibly know that), claiming before the pandemic in 2020 that he might be able to perform miracles (which is total bollocks). And many more delusional claims continued, such as him being "Alien love", etc. His disregard for 2 people (that we know of) commiting suicide due to his teaching, and him being generally disconected from people and reality/life (which sounds like a complete opposite of what spirituality should be about) is also pretty suspect. He's definitely not someone people should follow religiously. Believing that there's no objective reality, believing in complete psychadelic-enhanced solipsism, is something that would drive even the strongest person insane, and maybe there should be a bigger push in spiritual community, for some sort of rationality and basic morality while attempting to seek for Truth. And that maybe your philosophy shouldn't be based around a bunch of unfalsifiable claims, that cannot be proven right nor wrong. And that you should never ever assume that you actually discovered the ultimate Truth, or that you are even close to understanding how reality really works. I don't know, that's just my bit of mind, take it or leave it.
