Orb Posted October 20, 2022 Share Posted October 20, 2022 When people want to solve the problem of lust, it has nothing to do with the physical sensation of arousal or the attraction to someone in the present moment. It has to do with sexual fantasies and thoughts about sex. Let me explain why: This isn't tied to morality or anything like that, really it is because sexual fantasies arouse the experience of craving, and craving implies lack. So really sexual thoughts and fantasies are being "fueled" by lack. This is why (if youre a guy maybe you can relate, if youre a woman let me know if this resonates!) when you entertain sexual fantasies eventually the craving can get so intense that its painful almost, and out of this intense craving arises frustration and/or confusion.
