Daniel Ingram’s book

I started reading Mastering the core teachings of the Buddha book and I am not sure I like it

Too much text, and it feels a bit dark and heavy - which is not something I believe spirituality needs to be.

Has anyone else read it? What do you think about it?

Resonate with this. At times, it feels like the author's purpose is other than plainly communicating. Also, way too much intellect.

This is one of those books that could be cut in half (or so) without taking anything worthwhile away.
