After doing something thats fun/energizing meditation will feel like resting from that activity. There's less thinking.


Also the joy of what energizes you will merge with the peace of sitting and resting from that joy. Hope that made sense.

It helped to see meditation as actual rest and not chasing an idea while sitting down. 


It also makes it fun, try it out, the direct experience is much richer than the description 😀.
