Loneliness is an interpretation that assumes separation, not an emotion. There is no exclusion, so one cannot feel oneself as being excluded without feeling the feeling guidance that that is NOT the case.

Exactly because it is not circumstantial, it's a pattern of thinking oneself as being excluded.

The emotions on the scale in the grey & black are how the concept of a separate self which is alone or lonely feels. It has more to do with that there is a desire for a relationship (the next higher emotion on the scale) than it does the true nature of oneself.  Actually being Alone is wonderfully blissful.

Unwillingness (to express emotions).
