Devin
I've seen it posted about a few times but I still don't understand it, how does impatience guide? Quote Mention
Devin
Is it showing you you're following a discordant thought, that's all I'm coming up with. Quote Mention

Expression: I’m experiencing impatience, and yes, there’s some pessimism felt too. Suppression: I’m losing my patience with you. Devin
@Phil @Mandy so when you all say the emotions guide you, you don't mean an individual emotion really shows you what you want do you? You sort of mean all of them together will show you, right? To me the way I would say it if I understand it correctly is that feeling the emotions let's you see the originating thought and that it isn't you, and all the emotions up the scale uncover you more and more, and at the end you meet you, and presumably figure out what you want somewhere along the way. You sort of mean all of them together will show you, right? What’s wanted is already wanted. The dreamboard is great for seeing what’s wanted. Emotion guides you to it / it to you. Emotion is more guidance for creating, than a guide to show you what you want to create. What’s wanted changes, but the guidance doesn’t. Like the dreamboard. 4 hours ago, Devin said: To me the way I would say it if I understand it correctly is that feeling the emotions let's you see the originating thought and that it isn't you, and all the emotions up the scale uncover you more and more, and at the end you meet you, and presumably figure out what you want somewhere along the way. Emotion isn’t really about if the thought is you or not, as emotion isn’t really about you. Emotion is the discord or alignment of the thought felt, relative to what’s on the dreamboard. Devin
@Phil interesting, I've never had a problem figuring out how to do something, usually only the what to do, I just assumed that's what the guidance meant. Something funny after writing that paragraph too is that as long as I remember having the ability, I've always made dreamboards, I was never taught to do it I always just liked imagining different lives I could live, and I made collages and lists; and now I don't care much about any of the options, I still seek "what to do". To me that's where I feel the discordant thoughts are for me The way I read it though is that it's okay for what I want to change, just chase what I want right now, the dreamboard changes Edited October 4, 2022 by Devin Quote Mention
Devin
Ahhhh, I think I know what you mean now, I always thought of it as going with the peace, if I feel peace about a decision or something I go with it, if I feel unsettled I don't, I consider it the same as gut feeling, intuition, following god, following your heart, ..... I never really dissected the emotions Quote Mention
