Devin
Am I missing something? It seems people are focused on "enlightenment/...", which sounds great as well, but to me this is great. With enlightenment I take it you don't really have struggles, but to me struggles are life, along with joy as well. But I love the "Path" I love times of joy, the lack of control at times, the disappointment and fear, ..... What's the hurry for enlightenment/...? This is awesome. I love the time where I put in the work, contemplate, meditate, fast, seclusion, learn something, unlearn something, and see progress, but also even during regression; that's all awesome to me I don't understand what appears to me to be hyper focus on enlightenment, am I missing something? I love this, I don't see the big appeal to get to enlightenment. Quote Mention
James123
Enlightenment is simply being where you already are, that's all. Whatever makes you happy do that. Sooner or later you will realize what you are. No rush. Quote Mention "It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows." Yo my man 😃😃 knowing is the biggest illusion and that’s enlightenment. No more video lol 😂 anything you understand it, is not it 😂 if it can be understood by knowing or experiencing, everyone would know 😃😃 Quote Mention "It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows." Devin
@Phil but there is ignorance to see through, and with that you get to a point of no suffering, but even that, why strive for that? A little bit of suffering, is life. I suppose being able to turn it on and off is enlightenment, and to do so while still being able to cover your eyes with enough ignorance to be able to enjoy the surprise of the suffering as well. Sort of like multiple lives you get this life to do whatever and then you get a whole new pile of ignorance when you want the next. That's really freeing for me to think about, to me that means soak up everything, this life is one flavor at the ice cream shop, just savor it Edited September 16, 2022 by Devin Quote Mention

I've watched Leo's stuff up to about a year or so ago, multiple times actually, it was very beneficial to me then. I like Phil's and Mandy's, very helpful. Why are you here then? Devin
see, why would anyone want to know that? Then the dreams over, to me enlightenment must be when you can turn it back on. Or else it'd be like your mom telling you play times over come eat your broccoli, or waking you up for school Edited September 16, 2022 by Devin Quote Mention
Phil
@Devin What of what’s mentioned on this thread is of direct experience? (That there is a singularity, an enlightened self, that enlightenment is an on & off, that it’s like your mom telling you play time is over, etc.) Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions
