Can people here see right through me?

This question goes out to all you OG enlightenment peeps! Is it true that when you develop yourself a shit load over decades, and do crazy inner work that you can see through into everybody’s souls like looking through glass? Can you tell right away what level of development people are at and what they’re thinking and feeling?

 

Sometimes I get a little freaked out around people that seem super well developed and high consciousness. I think they see through me so well that if they wanted to, they could crush my ego into oblivion. I don’t really know how to act around them.

 

I don’t really know who’s super high consciousness and who’s not for the most part, but sometimes there’s an intuitive sense. I’ve been interested in consciousness work and personal development at a semi-serious level for less than a year, but some of you have literally been doing this for decades. You people must have superhuman levels of insight and vision!

 

Can you guys tell me something about myself that I don’t know about myself? Tell me something that I might not discover about myself for another 10 years!

Basic mindfulness and listening is powerful enough for me. If you listen and watch people will show you and tell you who they are. 

 

Some people are really good at reading people. I think women are more intuitive here. 

 

The Path can grow empathy for others. There's also certain commonalities on the Path like people that have a spiritual experience, an awakening experience even, can feel fear and apprehensive. Like a rug pulled. Or the seeker who feels lost and alone.

I tell myself in emptiness there's no fear (Heart sutra). Most of the time anyone who is at this ultra high level (very rare) who can do this is chill. I don't lie to them of course I try to be totally honest. I try to listen to what they have to say. 

 

There's only a couple people I've met that come to mind here that may have this presence. Look up Tenzin Palmo, she's one of them. I think she's legit. 

 

I'm skeptical when it comes to siddhis and reading minds. Let them Prove it. 

 

On the other hand, there's certain lazy :-) lamas when you're having a conference with them will know details you haven't quite told them yet. I don't know whether it's telepathy or they're good at figuring out the total picture. It's not an uncommon experience. I suppose it saves them time. Lazy!

 

If they do crush your ego -- laugh and thank them. They won't crush you. If they do mess with you a bit -- it's a bigggg compliment.

It won't take you ten years for you to fulfull your potential and reach the highest stages (which may be no stage) and you'll know for yourself. You have a big heart and are sometimes probably taken advantage of for it. Life hasn't been easy for you but it's put you on the Path.

Not always right away but maybe sometimes.  The ego defenses utilized become apparent fairly quickly, in any case.

A super-well-developed person wouldn't do that, they usually respect the evolutionary process.  You act as sincerely and naturally as you can, don't try to impress them.

Anything that you're not ready to know for another 10 years would only kick in your ego defenses.  There is no way to speed up the process; it has its own timeline.  In other words, telling you something like that wouldn't serve you -- there are things you are ready to learn about yourself tomorrow, next week, etc. and they matter a lot more.

Beliefs are obvious to the truth. So to speak, when you have seen completely through yourself - you’ve already seen completely thought everyone else.

The conclusion “I don’t know how to act around them” is a belief which isn’t resonating, because it is based on the belief there are people who are super well developed and high conscious, which is based on the belief there are levels of development, which is actually conjecture. By conjecture… none of this was realized from inspecting direct experience, but is a believing of what someone says.
