Phil
From the webpage, What Is Projection?: Projection: An emotion is experienced, and believed to be caused by an exterior or external reality. It isn’t. Emotion is how thoughts feel. Overlooking projection, which is to say overlooking an emotion or emotions felt - the emotion disregarded or suppressed, colors ‘the mind’ (lens) accordingly, and it very much seems this is not what’s happening - it very much seems thoughts of the projection of the suppressed emotion are true, about perception. This can discolor a household, a business, the entire economic or political landscape, and even delve into conceptual abstractions of ‘metaphysics’, blinding one to one’s own self-inherent guidance & nature, skewing the entirety of direct experience & dramatically distorting reality as is. Highlighting examples, seeing this ‘in action’ - stands to clarify & allow projection to be seen more clearly in one’s own direct experience. Acknowledging and feeling emotions is vital - quite literally is what vitality is, and all manors of health & well-being therein, including all seeming divisions such as mental health, bodily health, relationship health and even financial vitality. The impact of not seeing projection - as well as the ‘benefits’ of seeing projection clearly and instead - allowing emotions to be acknowledged and felt - is so all-encompassing that it is truly immeasurable and ineffable. So much so, that akin to loa, this could not possibly be overstated. To point: A life of unconscious isolation & bitterness, as compared to a life of love, peace, compassion, unity & inclusion. A mindset of elitism & separatism kept out of sight from oneself, as compared to appreciation for the miraculous apparent diversity. In terms of growth (Appreciaition) - ‘staying in ego mind’, or ‘spiritual ego mind’, ‘the emperor’s new clothes’ of delusion - via illusory roles such as victim, teacher, student, leader or follower - as compared to self-realization, self-recognition, awakening / enlightenment. In terms of health, a lifetime of seemingly failing or deteriorating health, as compared to robust vitality. Feel free to share any pictures, videos, quotes, insights, direct experiences or revelations in the vein of clear seeing of projections for what they are, why projection occurs, and how projection is resolved. Much, much love, and infinite openness. ♥️ Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions
Blessed2
Projection would make perfect sense and be entirely reasonable if you actually were a separate self which could have flaws. But if you are not a separate self which could have flaws, projection has no function, benefit or meaning anymore. Enlightened Cat
I think the concept of "other people" gets used as a proxy, a lot. For example: Other person thinks x so I should feel bad Other person purposefully did this to harm me so I hate them Other person purposefully scammed me so I hate them etc. etc. How do you know what they think is correct? How do you know that they even know why they did something? You don't. There is never actually an experience of other people thinking or purposefully doing anything to harm you, in the most literal sense, that is just an extrapolation beyond experience. That's actually your own reason that you came up with, which you are now feeling and dealing with. Hell, even if someone says they have bad intentions, that doesn't mean you have to feel bad. If someone gives you 100 dollars but has bad intentions, what does it matter? It's ultimately about how you benefit and how you feel, it has nothing to do with them. Notice how the actual experience of a bad intention is nowhere to be found, it's like a ghost, despite what someone might tell you. And this really runs rampant in all sorts of ways. You even have inanimate objects like food getting hit in the crossfire. For example, you have people who believe that junk food is evil. And that all the food corporations are out there to get them. This sort of anthropomorphizing is all the same deal. When it's all actually just perfectly innocent. Quote Mention Describe a thought.
A Tim
Sometimes, I watch "Our Planet" on Netflix with my kids. It's pretty fascinating and intense. To add a sense of urgency and a touch of reality for them, I do my own narrations. For example, Yesterday, they had one on about prairie dogs. Interesting little bastards. Just as four of them were standing watch for predators on the little hummock... "Becky's telling Raul that Paulo said something mean to her yesterday. Can you even imagine it? Like, Becky didn't even do anything. She was down in the den working her ass off caring for the pups, and apparently, Paulo waltzes in like his shit don't stink and makes some comment like 'oh, looks like you've been busy.' WTF is that supposed to mean, right? Fuckin' Paulo. He's been on my last nerve lately, too, to be honest. He's probably just pissed off because Raul was the bigger man last season and knocked Becky up, when it was Paulo who really wanted to get with her. This whole friggin' den is a shit show. I'm thinking about leaving. I honestly can't even. Why am I so frustrated all the time? It's like all I do is watch for predators, clean baby asses, find food, sleep a little, and start all over again. Like, what am I ever DOING here? All so that Raul and Paulo can fight over Becky each year? That seems so pointless. I'm so mad at me and my bumpkin ass living situation. Why do I feel this way? Did Paulo just look at me like that? Oh, hell no..." My kids have to get prepared to understand how prairie dogs' inner lives are. This ain't a game show. Quote Mention
Mandy
I was watching a YouTube live show and the guest yawned and the host asked if she was boring him, and the guest replied, "it's not a you thing." Quote Mention Youtube Channel
