Orb Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 There's something known as the chameleon effect that bothers me and makes me feel uncomfortable in social situations. I think it may be a core insecurity I experience. Basically the Chameleon effect is a natural phenomenon where humans unconsciously mimick each other's emotions/mannerisms and apparently it's a positive thing. It's always embarrassed me because I'm always aware of it and sometimes try to fight it. For some reason I feel embarrassed being similar to others. Does anyone else experience this? It may sound stupid but it's embarrassing lol. Quote Mention "In my world love is the only law. I do not ask for love, I give it" - Nisargadatta Maharaj
