Jane
Is suffering. Suffering is definitely not a pleasurable experience. The absolute surrendering, allowing, and the selfless total acceptance of suffering will always be better than lying to your-self about the nature of suffering. Knowing you exist, and the experience of being alive is going to be an uncomfortable experience no matter what, unavoidably so. Death is waking up from the dream of separation. Death is waking up from the attachment to your-self. Death is the realisation there never was a (your-self) a self that is yours. There is no I have a self. Suffering arises to no self. Aliveness is ultimately alone, all one, birthless and deathless. This truth is not for the faint of heart, it's the stomach churning nondual truth. And is why most people probably feel as though they would rather not think about it, and reject it, albeit in an illusory sense. Phil
"I used to eat there. Really good noodles. I have these memories from my life. None of them happened. What does that mean?" "We accept the reality of the world with which we're presented. It's as simple as that." "When I was a child, I caught a fleeting glimpse, out of the corner of my eye." "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?" “I was feeling part of the scenery - I walked right out of the machinery.” Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions

Jane
Suffering is almost certainly enduring, and not unbearable. If suffering was unbearable, there would be no conscious awareness of it. It’s always bearable. Quote Mention
