Please describe your routine with meditation and bodily practices

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if people could share what their routine is like:

  • What practices do you do
  • What is your schedule (daily, weekly, time of day)
  • How consistent are you? Is it always at the same time?
  • How many cheat/skip days do you have? How do you feel when you have an “off” day? Do you plan for it? Or is it only when some emergencies happen?

I am interested in practices such as meditation, breath work, any other physical practices that help you feel your body, psychedelics

I find what is most important fundamentally is having a deep curiosity into your nature and an "attitude" of constant exploration/curiosity. This attitude is far more powerful than a meditation practice. In fact, it's this inquisitive attitude that fuels meditation and makes it more than just some cool self-help habit.

In my experience, I dont have a solid routine yet, I'll sit down for 10-60 mins, then be at work for the majority of the day.

@Orb thank you for sharing 💛

This is weird I was just thinking something similar 10 minutes ago - I was thinking about therapy and how therapists don’t feel discouraged helping their clients because the clients keep coming and coming - their progress may be slow and the therapist might need to repeat the same thing a million times, but what keeps the therapist motivated is that the person keeps coming, no matter what the person is determined to change

(This was in my head because sometimes I feel when I talk to some of my friends and try helping them the energy may feel a bit wasted)
