"Self-Deception"

Been wondering.

 

Is there really such thing as self-deception?

 

Or is there first the assumption of a separate self, and then by adding some more concepts 'on' the separate self, we get to as if there being such thing as self-deception.

 

Is it also a very tricky manipulative tactic?

 

"I know there is self-deception, I know all about self-deception and how it works. Because of your self-deception, you must learn it from me."

 

And is it also projected?

 

Like for example, it's common in the pick-up community to believe statements like "don't believe what women say they want in a man, it's deception."

 

It's all just projection, isn't it? Projection and manipulation?

 

Any thoughts?

I think a great example of self deception is trying to appreciate a job that you don't really like and doesn't serve your life purpose.

There is no gpt or humans. There are the apparent thoughts, yet not the separate things.
