Kevin
So I was inspired by reading to post this because of something Mandy wrote about ghosts. I never believed in ghosts before. I never had any encounters. However I have had many strange encounters with sleep paralysis demons. And I was thinking maybe they tie in with ghosts because my dad lets me stay in the condo next to him, which he bought from the family of an old set lady that died in that condo. And basically I’ve had more sleep paralysis demon encounters in this condo than anywhere else. For those that done know, a sleep paralysis demon is basically a dark figure that shows up when you’re in sleep paralysis. It usually feels really scary. The first time it happened, was when I was living in this condo in 2020. I was having a dream where I was in my bed and a friend was there and we were laughing. Suddenly the lights go out and my friend disappears. Like I can’t see anything at all. Then suddenly I feel something poke into the top of my hand and a shock wave of energy and vibration rolls through my entire body but it radiates from the point in my hand. I instantly wake up and I look out of the corner of my eye and there is a sleep paralysis demon grabbing my hand. Eventually I shake my way out of sleep paralysis and I’m now fully awake and able to move but I still feel energy radiating from the point where it felt like something was inserted into my hand. And the most recent one happened a week or two ago. Basically I wake up from a crazy dream and I’m in sleep paralysis. I think the dream was really intense because for some reason I start having a full on conversation with no one. I was basically saying out loud “thank god that was just a dream, holy cow that was intense omg”. At this point I’m awake because I can clearly see my room. And as I’m basically speaking to no one I feel a hand grab my foot. The foot grab felt like someone maybe comforting me. Basically saying your good don’t worry. Has anyone else experienced this type of thing or ghosts? Also anyone have any idea what sleep paralysis demons are? I know they are pretty common because I’ve talked to a bunch of people who’ve had encounters with them. Everything from them just standing in your doorway to even one of my friends saying he woke up to one of them with their hands around his neck. Orb
@Kevin those are shadow figures. I've summoned one before 🧙♀️🧙♀️ in a lucid dream. I became lucid and was looking down a very long hallway. Them intuitively I summoned a shadow being and It manifested at the end of the long hallway opposite of where I was. It came in naturally, through a door, it walked in slowly. Orb
@Kevin I think the most unsettling thing is how quiet they are. Quote Mention "Mediocrity is gone. Mind is clear of limitation. I think the part that is really unsettling is that when they touch you it feels so real. Also it’s unsettling how many other people have seen them. And it’s definitely not a dream when I see them. Mandy
I've never had any scary experiences, just one that was slightly unsettling at first. My first experience of it wasn't mine but witnessing my sister's. I was a preteen and our family took care of the local cemetery so we were expected to spend a lot of time there working to help out our parents. I never saw anything weird, wasn't scared, didn't believe in ghosts. My sister claimed that she saw a ghost in a specific part of the cemetery, and I knew she was serious about it, but I wondered if she was making it up and felt some jealousy and didn't know what to believe about the whole thing. Over the course of the spring that year, we found that there were three brothers buried in that area of the cemetery, one or two killed in the civil war and only two were honored as veterans, so we added one to the list, ordered him a flag holder and he was honored as a veteran for the first time in a century, or who knows how long. One day that following summer, my sister and I were training for the upcoming cross country season on an old dirt wood's road area I was with her when on intuition she was lead to the stone cellar hole where their family home was. It was completely hidden but she knew it was there. I couldn't doubt that, I was with her. We went to the historical society and confirmed it was their house, same family. I experienced something very similar myself in a different area with a different person something like 20 years later. It started with odd things happening when I walked past the cemetery lot, and synchronicity was so incredible and fun over time I could write a book about it. I don't know how to describe it, it's like you both are wanting something and intuition works overtime to communicate to you. Desires don't die and neither do people, and all desire is at its essence shared. So you can definitely co-create with people who are no longer physically focused, in fact it's the perfect pairing. Don't go looking for it, it's just attracted, it just happens. We are living and often taking for granted what generations have asked for, and they care very much for us, and are living it through us and they will guide you, and communicate if you know how to read it, as a fun semi-appearance of extension of your emotional guidance and intuition. It's very natural, not super or more than natural. Quote Mention Youtube Channel

Phil
Have you by chance tried a dream journal? Kind of a different take on the subject, but in the same way Oprah had among the roughest of childhood’s which one might say was transmuted leading to purchasing a tv network to spread the message, experiences such as paralysis and demons transmuted tend to slingshot into siddhis and divine experiences of reality’s true inconsistency. Phil
@Kevin Hopefully doesn’t sound like nondual snobbery… but…. I’d frame as ‘when the meat sack get’s up’… leaving room for the dream journal to play a role in waking up to the tune / degree there’s no more experience of the demon / sleep paralysis. Unless of course you’re into ghosts, demons, that kind of paranormal. Many are. I can see where it’d be interesting or exciting but haven’t actually experienced it. Had a friend who did his entire life though, everywhere he’s lived. He said it f’ing sucked. Quote Mention YouTube Website Sessions

Or have it next to my bed? I’m definitely open to this but idk how dream journaling will get rid of the shadow figures. Also I don’t intend for this to come across as a huge concern. I’ve only had a few encounters. It’s not a super common thing. I’m mainly curious about what it all means. The main incident that really fascinated me was when I saw and felt the shadow figure grab my hand and then it felt like a needle went painlessly into the top of my hand and energy started flowing through my body from that point. And then when I woke up fully and sat up for the next half hour my entire body was vibrating with energy. Like that’s crazy and I feel like it means something but idk. Phil
@Kevin Next to the bed is fine. With the upmost respect, dream journaling won’t get rid of demons but it can contribute to dispelling what’s behind the experience of sleep paralysis and demons, effectively bringing an end to that experience. It’s like unclogging a hose which inherently unclogs the sprinkler because the ‘clog’ wasn’t actually in the sprinkler. Ever notice after getting up in the morning thoughts kind of reload or resume, pick where they left off? Sleep & thought activity is like checking in luggage, flying on a plane, and then picking up the luggage after the flight (getting up in the morning). But of course we don’t pick up the thoughts, they just appear / resume. In one way it’s functionally perfect, in another way it’s an illusion of consistency / doesn’t have to be that way / is quite changeable. During sleep, from consciousness’s ‘perspective’, or in direct experience, nothing’s happening. From a secondary non-direct assumed experience such as neuroscience the brain is busy during the night reconciling / refiling / organizing etc. Cleaning things up more or less. Organizing the place. The paralysis and demons are of this. I’m not saying it’s real or unreal, but that all of reality is real and unreal. The brain goes in the unreal / apparent category and therein can not decipher what is real and what is unreal. If it could the population of earth would be simultaneously nonexistent and woke af. So it’s a ‘prior to’ situation. The nighttime reconciliation is prior to thoughts about having just woke up, and hindsight thoughts about the experience… of paralysis and demons, and of the reconciliation (if it’s noticed). So to the brain so to speak, per the hindsight thoughts, it’s very real. But again, the brain isn’t real. What it’s made of is, but the appearance (‘brain’) isn’t. It’s just like if you were dreaming. There’d be brains in the dream, but the actuality would be that brains don’t exist and the dream is really the dreamer. In the same way that discordant thoughts do ‘go’ somewhere (black holes), the product of the reconciliation ‘goes somewhere’, or seems to; a hallucinogenic projection. It seems to go to perception. This is the difference between perception (appearance) and hallucination (projection of thought activity). Another aspect of sleep as reconciliation is that nonduality / unconditional love is actual. So what’s being reconciled are all the activity of thought or thoughts which are in discord with the truth. This is also functionally perfect. Imagine having your house and car cleaned while ‘you sleep’. How nice right? Albeit via appearance, there’s an order to it. Ineffable / unconditional… infinite mind…finite mind… projection / hallucination. Might think of these as a series of echos. Each being smaller than the last, arising from what’s unfortunately labelled as ‘The Big Bang’. The projection / hallucination might very well have some specifics to it… but always has a general theme in that something ‘held’ is incongruent with the natural ‘order’ of ‘things’ (unconditional… infinite mind… finite mind… projection / hallucination.) Projection / hallucination isn’t bad or wrong. Though it might be uncomfortable or unwanted, it’s perfectly natural given the order of appearance. The dream journal can help with seeing aspects & connecting dots which aren’t seen in (so to speak) going from the sleeping state to the waking state, and the hindsight thoughts about. Typically upon ‘waking up in the morning’ the hallucination / projection, emotions and thoughts all seem ‘married’ together. The dream journaling helps extract the emotion / guidance underlying (if the suggested steps are followed), without the aspects all seeming so married together. But definitely I think dream journaling would help. Lately I’ve been waking up too early but I try to go back to sleep because I’m super tired and then the dreams fade. I definitely have to do it first thing in the morning. Quote Mention
