Bringing up an image of person or situation is a great way to begin processing as well. 
The “I am not ______.” Statement is to bring up the reaction to the image, to get the frozen energies moving so you can connect to them . 
 

“What do I get out of it?” Statement is to uncover the drive whirling the feeling around. At this point there isn’t really a conceptual component to it, it is just the raw drive/ feeling reaction. 
Staying with it and allowing it to be expressed through the body, loosen the arms, letting them express. Might wanna expand out in anger or contract down in fear. We want to not repress either one, for both to be expressed.

We soothe the need for safety as we breathe, rest, relax, & allow with the nervous system regulation techniques. We create safety within ourselves. 
 

There is no thought without energy, it is all in the body now. Make conscious the energy of the thought. What is it? 
 

Notice the space around the thoughts.

Notice the space around the painful feeling.

 

Stay with the thoughts until they let go of You, & the energetic shift is felt & spread through and defused through the whole body. Expressing going through.

After processing give yourself space to relax, take a bath, go for a walk, don’t go straight back out there into daily life right after bringing up the energies, let them calm back down, mindfully, as you stay present, noticing feeling the drives, noticed the thoughts.

It could be actually also extended to stuff like "levels" of consciousness, life situations etc.

 

Embracing all aspect of the mundane with the knowledge all is sacred, and everyone is where they should be.

Exactly. Feeling Guidance. We don’t need a map of low & high consciousness to show us what resonates. 
 

Sometimes we ask questions like “Why am I attracting this?”,  when it is vibrations attuning. If there are unconscious/ subconscious repressed/ suppressed drives running the show, then we will keep attracting the same lessons until we heal & feel so to speak. 

Emotional Guidance is the Teacher. Showing us what does & doesn’t resonate, so we may tune to what we truly want, & unfetter from hidden drives. With & As, Love & Light.

Duality is the shadow dance.

Sure it is just thought, but they have power when they are sown to the body. When repressed this goes completely unnoticed. You may think “I have completed healing” or “I have completed spiritual practice”. That doesn’t happen though, and it never will.
Not-Knowingness is open, grounded, & free.

 
Play, 

Feel Emotional Guidance,

Lay down,

Breathing waving dance.

 

To see Always So Flow, 

Already noticed,

Isn’t it though?

Mistaken for a thought,

Already brought Home,

Melting knots,

Not-two to roam. 
 

The Loving Gaze,

Find the root of the repression,

Release the weeds choking the flowers,

The full range of emotion. 
 

Positive emotion can be repressed as well, perhaps you were shown it isn’t ok to show or feel love, joy, or, happiness. 

 

The more we release ourselves from repression,

The more those around us feel safe to do the same. 
 

Find the most separated sense of separation,

The repressed drives & commands,

The core of hurt, the core of the triggers,

Unravel them gently.

Psychedelics can uproot the can of worms of repressed emotions. Without having a practice to skillfully dance with them, they will go back into hiding so to speak. 
 

I strongly feel that one needs a solid meditation practice & inquiry practice of both somatic & self-inquiry before going into the psychedelic experience. Especially if it is being done without a guide. 
 

These substances must be held with deep respect, for yourself, for others, & for the planet as the Whole.

Sometimes trusting the guidance of emotions counter-intuitively is best, as the nervous system seeks safety, especially one that has seem to have gone through a lot of trauma & abuse. This is how you can see what is driving shadows and triggers. We can trust our triggers to guide us to what is repressed or suppressed. 

(A trigger arises)

What do I get out of this way of seeing things?

 

Allow day to day life to uncover repression for you. 
Repression usually won’t even show up as an emotion, until it is unpacked so to speak. 
It is repressed, it will jump out of the unintegrated shadow when something triggers it. 
 

The statements & questions in this thread are not forms of affirmations. They are to trigger the shadow to come out of hiding as you stay with it.

How trauma & repression manifests as illness & disease.

 

 

Hyper vigilance (Flight/ Fight) & Shutdown/ Disassociation (Freeze/ Fawn).

Two ways repression manifests, typically we swing between both. 

We might be highly sensitive to something that isn’t a threat taking it as one, 

or we don’t react to abuse, don’t stand up for ourself, and go into a people pleasing mode.

A traumatized body-mind seems to be stuck in between both.  (The crossover point/ the syndrome) 
 

We rely on someone for survival as children (usually parents). If we felt we wouldn’t get our survival needs met, we would feel we need to repress in order to survive. 
 

To be in rest & curiosity is where we want to be with our nervous system.

Go into the awareness of. Stay with the awareness for a bit.

Meditation is allowing the sediment to settle.

Sometimes you gotta mess up the streams sediment intentionally, consciously, to find triggers, shadow dynamics.
 

Be As You Are in a clear stream, as well as a dirty one.

Being & Inquiry.

A great surfer & a great diver.

Be both.

There doesn’t need to be a lesson learned from a trauma. There is the healing from the bullying & victimization. There is the returning back to our Intrinsic Strength.

 

This isn’t here for us to suffer, 

It isn’t your fault, 

You don’t need to “learn your lesson”,

All that is needed is for us to feel safe as who we are, 

To create safety within our environments,

So we all may create safety within ourselves.
 

That safety is foundational for Healing,

It is what we stand upon, grounded,

To be with the Freedom, 

To just be ok in our own body.
